The Prostate Cancer “Rally for Dad” was launched in 2001 to lend awareness to, and raise funds for local prostate cancer research. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian men. On average, one in six men will be affected by it. Many more will die from it. The goal of the Rally for Dad is to educate people on how to combat the disease as well as to raise money to fund local prostate cancer research conducted at the Northeast Cancer Center in Sudbury.
Since 2001, the Rally for Dad has raised over $400,000 for local prostate cancer research, including $26,000 in 2017!
Registration: 9:30am & Rally Start: 10:30am
All proceeds from this event go to the Northern Cancer Foundation (NCF) in support of local prostate cancer research at the Northeast Cancer Center in Sudbury.
